The UF Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine would like to congratulate Dr. Andrew Bryant and Dr. Kamal Mohammed for winning 1st place at the Department of Medicine Research Day. Dr. Andrew Bryant won 1st place in the “Junior Faculty” academic rank for his research titled “Vascular endothelial hypoxia-inducible factor (HIF) signaling is necessary for the development of pulmonary hypertension secondary to pulmonary fibrosis”. Dr. Kamal Mohammed won 1st place in the “Mid-Career Faculty” academic rank for his research titled “EphA2 Receptor Depletion Protects Host from Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) Empyema”
