The 2018 Gainesville Tailgate—Kick-Off to a Cure, in its 14th year, combines two of Gainesville’s favorite pastimes: food and football! With various companies, restaurant and families, the Saturday fun will offer gusts the opportunity to “tailgate” with foods from local restaurants while cheering on the Florida Gators! The Florida Gators will provide the entertainment via big screen TVs in the Touchdown Terrace as they battle their opponent for the win! During the first half, many of the area’s favorite restaurants will entice football fans with an indoor tailgate of signature fare! While our team is strategizing during halftime, the fans will bid on fabulous live auction prizes. A silent auction of artwork, sports memorabilia and great getaways will run throughout the day! The day will wind down during the second half with marvelous desserts and, hopefully, a big Gators’ win! TAILGATE IS THE ULTIMATE WAY TO WATCH THE GATORS PLAY AWAY!
