We are pleased to announce that the University of Florida – Gainesville, FL- has been recently accredited by the Pulmonary Hypertension Association (PHA) as a PHA Center for Comprehensive Care. Per the PHA association, the purpose of the PHA-Accredited Pulmonary Hypertension Care Centers (PHCC) initiative is to establish a program of accredited centers with expertise in pulmonary hypertension that aspires to improve overall quality of care and ultimately improve outcomes of patients with pulmonary hypertension, particularly pulmonary arterial hypertension, a rare and life-threatening group of diseases. We are proud to become the 3rd Pulmonary Hypertension Association Care Center in the state of Florida. Our Pulmonary Hypertension physician team consists of Dr. Hassan Alnuaimat, Dr. Ali Ataya, Dr. Julian Chung, and Dr. Raju Reddy.
