Effective July, 1 2020, Dr. Daniel R. Urbine has been promoted to the rank of Clinical Associate Professor. Important factors in granting this promotion include recognition of the quality and impact of his contributions to the University of Florida, to his profession and to society.
Dr. Urbine has been with the University of Florida College of Medicine since 2012 and with the Malcolm Randall VA Medical Center since 2014. He specializes in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care Medicine. Dr. Urbine’s clinical interests are pulmonary infections, tuberculosis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, eosinophilic lung disease, and international health. He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Disease, and Critical Care Medicine. Urbine is a member of the American College of Chest Physicians, the Society of Critical Care Medicine, the American Medical Association, and the Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease.
